Some collections have a story behind them that deserves to be told. The Greek Islands collection is one of those.
Three necklaces. Three islands. Every single one made by hand in our Oakville, Ontario studio. Here's where they came from and what makes them different from anything else in our collection.
The Inspiration
The Greek Islands — Mykonos, Santorini, Rhodes — carry a quality that's hard to articulate but immediately felt. It's the light, mostly. The way it hits white walls and turquoise water and makes everything look like a painting. The way time moves differently there. The way beauty feels effortless.
Each necklace in this collection was designed to carry that feeling into everyday wear — something you put on in Oakville on a Tuesday in November and still feel, for a moment, like you're somewhere warm and golden.
The Mykonos
The lightest of the three. A delicate 14K gold filled chain with handpicked freshwater pearl accents and a wheel clasp — minimal, clean, effortless. Named for the island that does effortlessness better than anywhere else. $118 CAD.
The Santorini
More substantial than the Mykonos, the Santorini features a richer pearl arrangement on a gold filled chain with the same signature wheel clasp. It has more presence — like the island itself, which is dramatic and beautiful in a way that's hard to look away from. $142 CAD.
The Rhodes
The most distinctive of the three. Rhodes is OAK + EVE's oldest continuously inhabited design inspiration — layered history, layered texture. The Rhodes necklace has a more complex arrangement of pearls on the chain, with a weight and presence that reads as genuinely special. $138 CAD.
How They're Made
Every Greek Islands necklace is made completely by hand in our Oakville studio. The wheel clasps are hand-attached. The pearls are individually selected and hand-set on each chain. No two are precisely identical — which is exactly the point. Handmade means genuinely handmade.
How to Wear Them
Alone: Any single Greek Islands necklace is strong enough to stand on its own. The Mykonos at collarbone length is a complete look.
Layered: All three together at slightly different lengths creates a layered pearl necklace look that's incredibly elegant. Or mix one Greek Islands necklace with our Letti Gold Filled Necklace for a dainty chain counterpoint.
For special occasions: The Santorini and Rhodes both read as elevated enough for weddings, dinners, and events where you want to feel dressed without overdoing it.
